Department toned out at 9:31pm for MVA at the intersection of Highway 56 and County Rt 59. The driver ended up driving her car to the S curve where she lost control. Law enforcement was on scene and check out by Parishville rescue and released back to law enforcement. Hannawa was back in service at 10:25pm.... (Full Story & Photos)

MVA on Route 56 and intersection of the Butternut Ridge Rd. One car with two occupants went off the road striking a telephone pole. Air bags were deployed and both occupants walk away with no injuries. State police were on scene and Colton Rescue assisting the department.... (Full Story & Photos)

Structure Fire

Hannawa was toned out for an early morning structure fire on the Hadley Rd. Resident called 911 and reported his home is fully involved with smoke and flames. Both residents made it out safe and tried to rescue his dogs but flame overcome the entryway. When units arrived the home was well consumed by the flames. Fire department on scene for two hours. ... Busy day for the Hounds

First call came in at 2:46pm. Tractor trailer on the S curve Back Hannawa road having problems getting up the hill. As the winds started to pick up 2nd call at 10:15pm reported structure fire Colton. Luckily we were cancelled only a transformer fire. Then calls started rolling in after that due to winds at 70 mph. We had trees down all over the district.
